Convenient online access to information you should know

as a NYS Management/Confidential employee or retiree

Here are a few tips on how to use this page:

• Click on the link(s) in the left-hand column and the sites will open here in the main window. The window is optimized for page size resolutions of 800 x 600 or better. The "Civil Service Info" sites open in a new window to enable proper functioning of tracking cookies used to ensure the accuracy of information on health benefits.  The "Civil Service Info" sites also require a user ID and password, which users can establish the first time they login to the site.

• The Civil Service Info for Employees link enables access to information on career mobility, time and attendance, health services, NYSHIP (health, dental and vision care) and other benefits (IPP, M/C Life Insurance, long-term care). In order to ensure that you are getting the correct information on health, dental and vision care benefits and the IPP (Income Protection Plan), be careful to select "Management/Confidential" and either "Empire Plan" or "HMO" where requested.

• The Civil Service Info for Retirees link provides retirees access to information on health benefits (NYSHIP), retirement benefits and returning to work in the public sector after retirement. To ensure that you are getting the correct information on health benefits, be careful to select "Management/Confidential" and either "Empire Plan" or "HMO" where requested.

• The NY AG's Office Topic Index link offers online access to a wide variety of information and guidance for consumers on subjects ranging from identity theft, predatory lending and internet scams to domestic violence and sexual assault, health care proxies and senior citizens housing.
