Restore M/C Compensati
Many of
our members, your constituents, have contacted you regarding the unfair
withholding by the Governor of their 2009-2010 salary increases, performance
advances (step increases), merit and longevity pay.
OMCE also requested your assistance in restoring these payments. Full
restoration of these withheld M/C salary increases should be part of your
negotiations with the Governor on the proposed DRP.
Note that OMCE has offered $1.5 billion in potential savings.
M/C employees are the only members of the state workforce who have suffered any
loss - and they are critical to the efficient operation of state agencies and
programs.
